TOBA: First Joiners

In November 2009, the following Facebook post appeared:

“I'm currently the Head Boy at Burford, so this is slightly weird, but if any one who happens to check these boards is simply passing nearby on Friday 20th, it's our annual Charter Day - I'm sure that's one thing that Burford has always done. Anyway, the evening speech/ceremony type thing will be at around 7, so I just thought I'd put that up here. Would be amazing, if a little bit (completely and entirely) strange to see any old Burfordians there.”

A Burford School governor thought this a bit sad, so he bought a domain, set up a website canvassing for ex-pupils and others connected with the school to get in touch and share memories. The gallant band who did were, in effect, the first to come aboard the good ship TOBA. And here is what they had to say.
